III. General Requirements for Conducting Interlaboratory Studies (18)

Most of the points raised in this section are of a general nature, and many of them are mere common sense considerations. Nevertheless, it is found that the results of many interlaboratory studies have been of limited value, precisely because of failure to give due consideration to apparently trivial matters in their initial planning. Technical details pertaining to these questions will be taken up later in the detailed discussion of interlaboratory testing.
