Revision of D8265-21 Standard Practices for Electrical Methods for Mapping Leaks in Installed Geomembranes

Rationale

A GPS accuracy/precision statement is lacking in this standard. Another standard for the dipole method, D7007, has a statement that controls the GPS precision to within 20% of the survey grid spacing so that the voltage measurement locations are never transposed. If the measurement locations are not evenly spaced within this accuracy, it would adversely affect the detectability of a leak signature shape on a voltage map.
