    Test methods are described for determining the elastic properties of wood, plywood, glass-fabric laminates, and a variety of sandwich core materials. The experimental procedures were developed over a period of years and are used extensively at the Forest Products Laboratory in connection with research on these materials. Methods representing practice that is regarded as the best at present are described in detail where necessary. Alternative methods and their disadvantages are discussed briefly.
