    Abstract

    Among threshold reactions that are used to determine neutron field characteristics on the pressure vessel surface of the WWER-1000 reactor, the 93Nb(n,n')93mM) reaction has the greatest importance. Analysis shows that the set of experimentally obtained specific activities and the set of activities calculated using the IRDF-90 cross sections are not self-consistent. Comparative analysis of data for the 93Nb(n,n')93mNb reaction cross section, which is contained in the IRDF-90 library, and this cross section estimation on the basis of ENDF/B-VI, BROND-2 and ENSDF libraries have been performed.
