Abstract

In discussing non-destructive inspection of castings and its economical aspects, it is imperative that its effects be understood in relation to the ultimate performance demanded by modern engineering requirements. The casting product must be built to serve adequately our present industrial needs. Inspection is a necessary tool extending the scope and usefulness of cast products.
