Abstract

A series of tests have been conducted by the Committee on Measurement Procedures of Esso Standard Oil Co. to evaluate the sustained accuracy, mechanical design, and maintenance requirements of certain automatic tank gages under field operating conditions. This paper summarizes the test program and its results.
