ASTM Committee E12 on Color and Appearance was formed in 1948. E12 meets twice a year, usually in January and June with about 40 members attending two days of technical meetings. The Committee, with a membership of approximately 175, currently has jurisdiction of 63 standards, published February in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 6.01. E12 has 13 subcommittees that maintain jurisdiction over these standards.
