Rationale
Global supply chains are tremendously complex. Segmenting the Goods Movement Process into phases and specifying milestone steps generates a framework for referring to last completed or next to complete milestone steps. Between such milestone steps, this standard addresses events and event modifiers occurring between Invoiced and Archived.
The title and scope are in draft form and are under development within this ASTM Committee.
