Revision of D7437-08(2019) Standard Test Method for Temperature and Hard Water Stability of Engine Coolants
Rationale
At the Fall 202 Subcommittee there was discussion that in Section 8 that it was not clear that the coolant being tested was a coolant concentrate. As can be seen in Section 4. Significance and Use, this method was designed for testing coolant concentrate. As agreed to, in the subcommittee meeting, the only change to the method will be the addition of the wording “of engine coolant concentrate” in Section 8 and the Summary of Changes at the end of the standard highlighting this change.
