Rationale
There is no existing published practice for Lazy and Action rivers in F24.70. These attractions are common in water parks and have safety risks to consider in their design and operation. It is the intent to provide a published practice to improve the safety of these water park attractions. For example, Lazy Rivers are explicitly excluded from some existing F24 standards by name.
The title and scope are in draft form and are under development within this ASTM Committee.
