This practice establishes an order of operations creating a sequence for installation of sewer system clean outs, lining of sewer mains, lining of sewer laterals, and containing and filtering emissions resulting from the curing of the resin-impregnated liners used in these operations.

Rationale

On-going experience with the installation of cured-in-place pipe rehabilitation of mains and sewer lateral pipes and clean-outs can be greatly improved by establishing a new order of operations that creates longer-lasting rehabilitation and enables the containment and filtration of emissions resulting from the curing of the resin-impregnated liners used in these operations. It will benefit system owners and customers by enhancing public health and insure sounder wastewater collections sstem assets.

The title and scope are in draft form and are under development within this ASTM Committee.
