New Specification for Tiny House Foundations
1. Scope
The scope of this specification is to provide minimum requirements to safeguard public health, safety and general welfare of the customer, general public, owners and occupants of tiny houses to achieve uniformity in design of temporary and permanent foundations.

Rationale
The purpose of this specification is to address the challenges and the lack of common knowledge faced by the new tiny house industry by creating a consensus specification for temporary and permanent foundations. The users will be manufacturers, builders, building officials, legislators, third-party certification agencies, architects, engineers, designers, real estate agents, lenders, insurance agencies and owners.
