Papers are invited for ASTM International’s 45th Symposium on Pesticide Formulation and Delivery Systems: Formulation and Regulatory Change Driven by Environmental and Market Conditions, to be held Oct. 6-8, 2026, in Jacksonville, FL. The event is sponsored by ASTM International’s pesticides, antimicrobials, and alternative control agents committee (E35) and will be held in conjunction with the committee’s standards development meetings.
This symposium will provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of formulation and application technologies associated with crop protection and crop production products. This includes many common products like pesticides, biopesticides, biostimulants, micronutrients, and spray adjuvants. The event specifically welcomes papers on:
• Endangered Species Act (ESA) driving formulation challenges through regulatory changes
• UAV (drones) applications driving changes in formulation and spray tank-mixing
• Biological formulations in a new age
• Formulation and application technologies to improve agrochemical applications and efficacy under ESA rules.
• Global regulatory trends affecting agrochemical and biological formulations and applications and the impact on product development.
• The development of more environmentally friendly adjuvant formulations and related products due to ESA rules.
To participate in the symposium, authors must submit a 250 to 300-word preliminary abstract using the online Abstract Submission Portal no later than Jun. 12, 2026. To ensure your abstract was received into the ASTM database, please email symposia@astm.org and let us know that you have submitted an abstract.
