This course is intended to introduce the use of ASTM F3586 Standard Practice for Remote ID Means of Compliance to abide by Federal Aviation Administration Regulation 14 CFR Part 89. The March 16th compliance deadline is an extension of this past September FAA deadline for operator compliance. This course was created to help manufacturers of drones navigate the complexities and nuances of the standard and how it is applied to the new compliance regulation.
Throughout the course, subsections of ASTM F3411, Standard Specification for Remote ID and Tracking, will be highlighted. The course can be completed in approximately four hours.
