Committee F10 on Livestock, Meat, and Poultry Evaluation Systems

Committee F10 on Livestock, Meat, and Poultry Evaluation Systems was formed in 2001. F10 meets twice each year, in April and October, with about 30 members attending 1 1/2 days of technical meetings. The Committee, with a membership of 29, currently has jurisdiction of 7 standards, published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 15.12. F10 has 5 technical subcommittees that maintain jurisdiction over these standards. The work of F10 has been determined to be of the highest priority to the US Department of Agriculture and is supported by a wide range of stakeholders to achieve fair and competitive markets for the livestock, meat, and poultry industry.
