ASTM Committee E10 on Nuclear Technology and its Applications was formed in 1951. E10 meets twice a year, usually in January and June, with about 50 members attending three days of technical meetings. The Committee has a current membership of approximately 225, including representatives from over 20 countries. E10 has jurisdiction of over 105 standards, published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Vol. 12.02. Committee E10 has 7 technical subcommittees that maintain jurisdiction over these standards. Information on this subcommittee structure and E10's portfolio of approved standards and work items under construction are available from the List of Subcommittees, Standards and Work Items below. These standards have and continue to play a preeminent role in all aspects important to the nuclear industry, including radiation dosimetry, nuclear structural materials, and decontamination & decommissioning.
