ASTM Committee E01 on Analytical Chemistry for Metals, Ores and Related Materials was formed in 1990 as a result of the merging of several other related committees. The Committee meets twice a year, at the May and November ASTM Committee Weeks with over 40 members attending two and a half days of technical meetings. Technical workshops are often provided during the meetings. The Committee, with the current membership of approximately 190, has jurisdiction of over 130 standards, published in Volume 03.05 of the Annual Book of ASTM Standards.
