Presentations are invited for ASTM International’s Workshop on Particle Counting in Liquid Fuels, to be held June 15, 2027, in Indianapolis, IN. The event is sponsored by ASTM International’s stability and cleanliness of liquid fuels sub-committee (D02.14) and will be held in conjunction with the committee’s standards development meetings.
The workshop will provide a complete review of particle counting, ranging from current technologies to applications across relevant fuel and lubricant industries. The session will host discussions on the effectiveness of particle counting and its impact on industrial applications, including an assessment of the importance of product cleanliness. Finally, key industry bodies will map out future industry needs.

To participate in the workshop, authors should submit a 250 to 300-word abstract to the Workshop Chairs, Giles Verity and Joel Schmitigal, no later than Oct. 2, 2026.
