Jeff Erdly Honored by ASTM with Werner H. Gumpertz Award

ASTM International’s performance of buildings committee (E06) has honored Jeff Erdly, part time senior technical specialist with SKA Consulting Engineers, with its Werner H. Gumpertz Award.

This eminent award is conferred for significant professional contributions to the field of building technology and multidisciplinary technical problem-solving in the construction industry. 

An ASTM International member since 1990, Erdly has also been honored with the Award of Appreciation (2007), the E. George Stern Award of Excellence (2015), and the Award of Merit (2017), from the committee.

Erdly’s career concentration is masonry restoration and waterproofing. In addition to ASTM, Erdly is also a member of the Sealant Waterproofing & Restoration Institute (SWR Institute), the Institute of Roofing Waterproofing & Building Environment Professionals (RCI), the Association for Preservation Technology (APT), and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Erdly received his drafting degree in engineering from the Pennsylvania College of Technology (1972).
