Dhuanne Dodrill, chair of the board, president, and CEO of PAXXUS, has started her three-year term on the ASTM International board of directors.
ASTM International’s board is made of 25 leaders from a variety of companies, associations, universities, government bodies, and other organizations around the world.
Dodrill has over 35 years of experience in the flexible packaging industry. She’s been elected to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Flexible Packaging Manufacturers Council, is the immediate past chair of the Sterilization Packaging Manufacturers Council, and is a member of the Sterile Barrier Association’s Board of Directors. She is also one of the founding members of Kilmer Innovations in Packaging (KiiP).
Dodrill joined ASTM International as a member in 1996, and she has been an active member of the committee on primary barrier packaging (F02) since then. She went on to chair the committee, and she received the Outgoing Chair Award (2017) and Award of Merit (2021) for her contributions to F02. She is also an active member of the committees on packaging (D10) and plastics (D20).
Dodrill received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
