Registration is now open for ASTM International’s Industry Scientific Exchange on Sterile Manufacturing, to be held May 5-6, 2026, in Prague, Czechia. The event is sponsored by ASTM International’s manufacture of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products committee (E55) and will be held in conjunction with the committees’ standards development meetings. 

ASTM committee E55 is hosting the two-day industry-led scientific exchange in conjunction with ISO TC/198 WG9 and BioPhorum. The event will focus on identifying gaps and challenges to meeting manufacturing and compliance associated with enhanced sterile manufacturing requirements.

The goal of the industry exchange is to create a practical roadmap for aligning, prioritizing and standardizing best practices through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and data generation. This industry-driven exchange and approach will strive to: 

• Accelerate acceptance of innovation;
• Standardize approaches to meeting Annex 1 requirements;
• Deliver the framework for future manufacturing capabilities needed to keep pace with life-changing products and therapies.

Registration is limited to the first 60 attendees and lunch and coffee breaks both days, and admittance to all technical sessions, including the E55 standards developments meetings scheduled for Thursday, May 7, 2026. Registration will close at 11:59 PM on April 24, 2026. Onsite registration will NOT be available.
