ASTM International’s nondestructive testing committee (E07) has presented its 2026 Charles W. Briggs Award to Greg Mohr.
The Charles W. Briggs Award is conferred for continuous and outstanding contributions to the work of committee E07 through its subcommittees, sections, and task forces. Mohr was recognized for an extensive career advancing digital radiography and nondestructive testing.
An ASTM International member since 2014, Mohr serves as a subject matter expert in
digital radiography supporting the Submarine Industrial Base Program Office. He took on this role in 2024 after previously spending 14 years working as an NDT engineer for the Naval Nuclear Laboratory.
In addition to ASTM, Mohr is a member of the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT). He received his Ph.D. in physics (1986) from Washington University.
