ASTM International has announced a call for presentation titles for the 2024 Workshop on Transparent Enclosures and Materials, to be held Nov. 13, 2024, in Orlando, FL. The event is sponsored by ASTM International’s committee F07 on aerospace and aircraft, and will be held in conjunction with the committee’s standards development meetings.

The objective of this workshop is to provide the transparency community with up-to-date information on topics of interest and is an ideal setting for exchanging ideas with others in the transparent materials community.

Presentations are being solicited for this workshop in the areas of transparent materials, coatings, manufacturing, optics, testing and test methods, birdstrike, structural analysis, cockpit design, human factors, and related areas.

No written paper is required, only a 20-to-30-minute PowerPoint presentation. Individuals interested in presenting at the workshop are requested to send a presentation title and contact information to Daniel R. Bowman at Daniel.Bowman@udri.udayton.edu by Sept. 15, 2024.
