ASTM International is proud to be a supporting partner of the 4^th International Conference and Exhibition on Laboratory Technology, Labtech 2017, to be held 7-9 Nov. 2017 at The Gulf Hotel in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Labtech 2017 is being organized by the Saudi Arabian International Chemical Sciences Chapter of the American Chemical Society and will provide an industrial and academic platform for researchers from around the world to showcase the latest scientific discoveries in the areas of workforce development, quality, health, safety, and more. 

“ASTM International is excited to support Labtech 2017,” according to Nick Ecart, ASTM director of business development for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. “This event provides ASTM the opportunity to interact with researchers worldwide in an effort to help improve quality, safety, and performance through the use of ASTM standards and services.” 

ASTM International supports several events in the Gulf region each year, including the Gulf Metrology Forum, Annual Quality Assurance for Sustainable Construction Materials Conference and Workshop, and Project Qatar.
