ASTM International Committee B02 on Nonferrous Metals and Alloys has presented its Gary M. Kralik Distinguished Service Award to Michael Perricci, senior product engineer at Engineered Materials Solutions, Hamburg, Pennsylvania.
The committee noted Perricci’s dedicated service as chairman of Subcommittee B02.10 on Thermostat Metals and Electrical Resistance Heating Materials since 2001. He has been an ASTM member since 1992.
A graduate of Albright College, Reading, Pennsylvania, where he received a bachelor’s degree in physics in 1982, Perricci began his career at Hood & Co. Inc., Hamburg, Pennsylvania, where he was an engineering manager for 23 years. He went on to hold similar engineering roles at Precision Controls Co., Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Mechanical Products Co., Jackson, Mississippi, before assuming his current position in 2011.
