ASTM International’s consumer products committee (F15) invites interested parties to join in the development of a proposed safety and performance specification for soccer goals weighing 40 pounds or less.
The proposed standard (WK94637) is being developed by F15’s soccer goal safety subcommittee (F15.43). WK94637 will include design and testing requirements for soccer goal manufacturers. The subcommittee is compiling requirements that will assure a minimum level of safety and performance for soccer goals 40 pounds or less.
Soccer goal manufacturers and importers will benefit from the use of this proposed standard, once it has been approved.
The committee is particularly interested in participation from soccer goal manufacturers.
