Registration is now open for ASTM International’s Workshop on Finite Element and Statistical Simulations for Galling, Erosion and Tribology in General, to be held Dec. 5, 2023. The workshop is organized by ASTM’s wear and erosion committee (G02) and will be held at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel, New Orleans, Louisiana (USA) in conjunction with the December standards development meetings of the committee.

The purpose of this workshop is to provide a forum for the exchange of current research on tribology. Topics will include ideas being discussed and utilized internationally on simulating tribology, such as galling and erosion. The focus areas include statistics, calculations, and FEM for these purposes.
