ASTM International’s copper and copper alloys committee (B05) presented its Copper Club Award – to James Barroner, sales and marketing manager at Wieland Small Tube Products.
The award recognizes distinguished service to committee B05, holding numerous leadership positions culminating as chair, as well as outstanding contributions to subcommittee B05.04 in the standardization of pipe and tube products.
An ASTM International member since 2008, Barroner has been previously honored by the committee with the Award of Appreciation (2017) and the Arthur Cohen Distinguished Service Award (2019).
Before accepting his current position in 2019, Barroner worked as a quality manager at Small Tube Products. He has 23 years of experience with pipe and tube quality on the quality side and 6 years on the sales and marketing side.
Barroner received his bachelor of science degree in management from Saint Francis University (1995).
