Glenn N. Waite, aggregates manager at Western Rock Products, in Saint George, Utah, has been named chairman of ASTM International Committee D04 on Road and Paving Materials.

Formed in 1903, D04 has over 700 members, represents 48 countries, and includes nearly 30 technical subcommittees that oversee more than 200 standards related to all types of highway and transportation construction and maintenance. Waite has been a member of ASTM since 1999.

Waite has been with Western Rock Products since 2002 having previously served as president of Tri-State Testing Laboratories and laboratory manager with Southwest Testing Laboratories. A graduate of Southern Utah State College, Waite holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
