ASTM International will host a delegation of additive manufacturing professionals from Singapore, Nov. 7-12. The delegation will visit Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.
As part of the additive manufacturing program, the delegation will visit:
• ASTM’s D.C. office and Underwriters Laboratories,
• the U.S. Food and Drug Administration,
• DePuy Synthes, a Johnson & Johnson company, in West Chester, Pa.,
• ASTM International Headquarters in West Conshohocken, Pa.,
• Drexel University in Philadelphia,
• and the University of Connecticut.
The Singapore delegation includes representatives from the National Additive Manufacturing Industry Cluster, Digital Manufacturing & Design Centre, Temasek Polytechnic, Nanyang Technological University, and more.
ASTM Intensive Training Programs are available to representatives of industry and government who wish to:
• Better understand or use ASTM International standards, and
• Contribute to or influence the content of the ASTM standards to reflect local market and regulatory needs.
The program is tailored to the interests of the participating technical experts within a sector or technical area.
