ASTM International announced today that it is a supporting partner of the 2017 Project Qatar Exhibition, 8-11 May, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
Project Qatar, an annual exhibition celebrating its 14th year, provides local and international traders with insights into many new construction developments including:
• new building materials,
• heating ventilation and cooling,
• heavy equipment,
• stone technology,
• interior design, and much more.
The four-day exhibition is expected to bring together hundreds of manufacturers, suppliers, and industrial professionals from more than 40 countries.
“ASTM International is excited to be a supporting partner of Project Qatar again this year,” says Nick Ecart, ASTM director of business development for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. “We look forward to working with industry professionals interested in using high-quality standards and services.”
ASTM International supports several events in the Gulf region each year, including ADIPEC, ARALAB, Project Qatar, the Arabian Tunneling Conference, the Annual Quality Assurance for Sustainable Construction Materials Conference and Workshop, and the Dubai Civil Defence Annual Fire Safety Technology Forum.
The Oman Downstream Exhibition & Conference is a showcase for global manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers representing key sectors within the refining and petrochemical industry. The conference is a discussion and knowledge-sharing platform focusing on the market trends, developments, projects, technology, and innovation in the sector.
In October, ASTM International announced that it had reached 100 Memorandums of Understanding with standards bodies worldwide, including the Directorate General for Specifications and Measurements in Oman, and many others in the Gulf region.
