ASTM International has provided the Washington Fire Company No. 1 of Conshohocken with three full sets of personal protective equipment. Also known as turnout gear, this is the primary equipment local firemen use when responding to incidents.

Based in West Conshohocken, ASTM International actively supports charitable causes in West Conshohocken, Conshohocken and the greater Montgomery County and Philadelphia areas, and has made several donations to Washies and other local fire companies over the years.

The 1924 American LaFrance Type 12 Pumping car is an ongoing restoration, with the majority of the work being performed by the fire company's membership.
