On Feb. 21, Liu Fei, chief representative, ASTM International China office, Beijing, China, attended the annual meeting of the Chinese National Technical Committee 323 on Electromagnetic Shielding Materials and spoke to about 50 committee members from Chinese research institutes, universities and enterprises.

During his presentation, Liu Fei described the work of ASTM Committee D09 on Electrical and Electronic Insulating Materials and its standards, the standards development process and how to participate in it, the application of ASTM standards worldwide, copyright, and the operations of ASTM's China office. TC323 has been collaborating with D09 since 2010.
