Academic Librarians: Providing technical resources for the academic community

Academic librarians advance the educational missions of their institutions and introduce innovative ways to meet the needs of the science, technology, engineering and math disciplines. They decide which resources and content to have on hand and the best ways to access and deliver that content, providing service to students, professors, researchers and others.

Setup and Integration

Our platform is designed to integrate into your existing systems, offering flexible authentication methods such as SSO through Shibboleth and OpenAthens, as well as ADFS (Active Directory Federated Services). We also connect directly with online library databases and provide integrated tools, including COUNTER/SUSHI for usage reporting, EBSCO discovery services for enhanced visibility, MARC records for cataloging, and support for the ASTM DOI structure to ensure reliable access to content.

Citing ASTM References

• To cite ASTM standards, include the full standard designation and title, followed by the standard number and year in parentheses. Indicate that the standard is voluntary, list the publishing location and organization (West Conshohocken, PA: ASTM International), and provide the direct URL to the standard. Finally, include the publication status and approval date. For example:
  
  ASTM E3130 Guide for Developing Cost-Effective Community Resilience Strategies, ASTM E3130-21 (Voluntary), West Conshohocken, PA: ASTM International, https://www.astm.org/e3130-21.html (Published), approved Aug. 1, 2021.
