ASTM Committee F18 on Electrical Protective Equipment For Workers was formed in 1974. F18 meets twice a year, generally in April and October with approximately 85 members attending over three days of technical meetings. The Committee, with a membership over 210, currently has jurisdiction of over 38 standards, published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 10.03. Committee F18 has 6 technical subcommittees that maintain jurisdiction over these standards. Information on this subcommittee structure and F18's portfolio of approved standards and work items under construction are available from the List of Subcommittees, Standards and Work Items below. These standards have and continue to play a preeminent role in the protection of the electrical worker.
