This standard shall define the consumer package specifications for resin cannabis products sold in an adult-use or medicinal-use marketplace, covering any product, containing or comprised of cannabis owers or resins or both and includes, but is not limited to, the cannabis owers and resins themselves, extracts/concentrates/derivatives thereof, and preparations therefrom. This standard shall apply to all resin cannabis products sold in an adult-use or medicinal-use marketplace regardless of the type of cannabis plant from which the resin cannabis products were derived, including those that can be classified as hemp. This standard shall define clear product categories for which these specifications apply. This standard shall not define the consumer package specifications for foods, dietary supplements, over-the-counter drugs, or pharmaceuticals containing cannabis-derived products. This standard shall not define the package specifications for bulk or work-in-process (WIP) products, i.e. non-consumer packages.
