ASTM International’s soil and rock committee (D18) has presented its A. Ivan Johnson Outstanding Achievement Award to Michael Robeson, senior vice president, innovation at Profile Products, LLC.
The award was presented in recognition of outstanding and significant contributions to the soil and rock committee. An ASTM International member since 2007, Robeson has also received numerous Richard S. Ladd Standard Development Awards from the committee.
Robeson’s career concentrations include erosion control, horticulture, and hydroponics. He has been with Profile Products since 2007, previously serving as its vice president, research and development, until 2024.
In addition to ASTM, Robeson is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and holds several environmental professional certifications including CPESC, CPSWQ, and CESSWI. He received his doctoral degree in civil & environmental engineering, in the field of hydraulics & water resources, from Colorado State University in 2014.
