Consultant Gary W. Dallin, director of the GalvInfo Center, a program of the International Zinc Association in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, has received the Kenneth J. Boedecker Jr. Distinguished Service Award for his exceptional contributions to ASTM International Committee A05 on Metallic-Coated Iron and Steel Products.
A member of ASTM International since 1985, Dallin served as chair of Committee A05 from 2004 to 2009 and currently works on several A05 subcommittees. The committee has honored him twice before for his work, with the Award of Merit, the highest organizational recognition for individual contributions to ASTM standards activities, in 1998, and with the A05 Cenenntial Award of Appreciation in 2006. In addition to A05, he also serves on Committees A01 on Steel, Stainless Steel and Related Alloys and B02 on Nonferrous Metals and Alloys.
