Representatives from China's Certification and Accreditation Administration Attend ASTM Committee Week

Three representatives from the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China attended the ASTM May committee week meetings in Indianapolis, Ind. The visit included a meeting with ASTM staff. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss ASTM's Proficiency Testing and Interlaboratory Study Programs and to better understand the benefits of membership and actions pertaining to standards development.

The group met on-site with Steve Hepburn, director of proficiency testing program and contract/project management services, ASTM; and virtually with ASTM staff members Caitlin Farrell, project manager, Interlaboratory Study Program, and James Olshefsky, director, external relations.
