CJLU has established a standardization department and a standardization major. Currently, 403 students are enrolled with the first class of 88 scheduled to graduate in 2015.
The standardization major focuses on one of three areas that reflect aspects of the Chinese economy: food safety, materials and logistics. The university also plans to add a fourth area of study, energy/environment.
CJLU standardization majors study standards in the preproduction, production and post-production phase. Each student serves a brief industry internship and a standardization simulation is also part of the program.
