On Oct. 10th, Mark Chris, Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., and a member of ASTM Committee D30 on Composite Materials, spoke to a group of engineering students during a capstone design course at The University of Texas at Dallas. The visit provided a means for Robert Hart, senior lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Department, to integrate information on standards into his course material.
