ASTM has made several recent donations to the Conshohocken Free Library. These include free access to ASTM's Digital Library, as well as funds to help renovate the library's community room. Shown here in the community room are (from left to right) Rachel Fecho, branch manager, Conshohocken Free Library; John Pace, vice president of publications and marketing, ASTM; and Brian Coll, president, Free Library Advisory Board.

Oct. 26 marks the 20th anniversary of the opening of ASTM International's headquarters building in West Conshohocken, Pa. During these two decades, ASTM has fostered a strong relationship with the local community. We support many local organizations and activities, including those shown in these photos.

We donated $7,500 to Conshohocken's Washington Fire Company No. 1 to help replace their breathing-air fill station with a safer, more accurate and efficient system. Posing in front of the new equipment are: (far left): Beth Januzelli, firefighter, Washington Fire Co.; James S. Thomas, assistant vice president, Sales and Marketing, ASTM; Ron Januzelli, firefighter, Washington Fire Co.; Chris Savage, lieutenant, Washington Fire Co.; and Robert Bendig, director, General Services, ASTM.

ASTM supports several programs run by Riverbend Environmental Education Center for local elementary school students. In this photo, ASTM Executive Vice President Kathie Morgan visited Riverbend's after-school nature club for second graders at Conshohocken Elementary. About 20 students learned about what animals need to survive in their habitats. Morgan (center) and Riverbend staff members Kelly Myers and Lauren Ritchey are pictured with nature club students.
