ASTM International signed a memorandum of understanding with The Gambia Standards Bureau on Jan. 4. James A. Thomas, ASTM president, and Papa Secka, director, TGSB, signed the MOU. This agreement brings the total number of ASTM MOU partnerships to 95.

The ASTM MOU Program was launched in 2001 to promote communication between ASTM and national standards bodies worldwide, fostering awareness of the standardization systems of all parties involved.
