New Specification for Stainless Steel Washers for General and Structural Use
1. Scope
This specification covers the chemical, mechanical, and dimensional requirements for stainless steel washers in sizes No. 0 through 4 in. These washers are intended for general-purpose and structural use with bolts, nuts, studs, and other internally and externally threaded fasteners and are suitable for use with fasteners covered in Specifications A193, A194, A320, A1082, F593, F594, and F2281. Washers are designated by group (and/or alloy) noting the material, by condition, by style denoting the shape, by type indicating basic dimensions, and by additional dimensions when required or agreed upon between purchaser and supplier.
