Rationale

This work item is a follow-up topic that was raised on the last version prior to initial publication. One voter pointed out an unintended discrepency with how Sections 10.1.3 and 10.2.3 address the specimen thickness for products that have properties that vary within the thickness. The objective of this ballot is to align the provisions and require products that have variable properties with thickness to be tested with the as-produced thickness.
