RATIONALE When unit weight, loss of free water, and cement content need to be conducted on the same portion of the sample, it is easy to forget that unit weight needs to be done prior to crushing the sample for further analysis. Moving the unit weight section before the cement content procedure serves as a visual reminder that the procedure needs to be done. The addition to Section 7.3 also reminds the user of need to follow the proper order.
