Rationale

During the December 1925 D02.14 subcommittee meeting held in Houston, TX, planning for an interlaboratory study (ILS) that would provide r & R precision for D8148 Procedure 1 via D6300 was discussed and approved. Following the successful completion of the ILS, during the Spring of 2026, this proposed revision of D8148 will incorporate ILS findings and other pertinent comments provided during previous balloting activity.
