New Guide for Capturing Electronic Cannabinoid Delivery System Emissions for Targeted and Untargeted Chemical Analysis
1. Scope
Proposed Scope includes the setup of smoking machine, device, and cryogenic solvent system for trapping aerosol to analyze for key parameters: 1) potency (e.g., cannabinoid content in aerosol); 2) terpene/terpenoid content in aerosol; 3) selected harmful or potentially harmful compounds, such as aldehydes, ketones, volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds found in priority toxicant lists for monitoring in tobacco products; 4) other specific targeted or untargeted analyses.
