Rationale

Updated the description of gypsum in the Scope (Section 1.1) to reflect the language for the definition of gypsum in the Terminology section of ASTM C11. Also, corrected various grammatical issues: 1. Removed the duplication of the superscript number “1” for the footnote referenced after the Standard Specification for Gypsum document title, 2. removed the duplication of the superscript number “2” for the footnote referenced in Section 2.1 ASTM Standards title, and 3. deleted a “z” after C471M Test Methods for Chemical Analysis of Gypsum and Gypsum Products (Metric) in Section 2.1). No other changes have been made to the standard beyond the underscored or struck-through parts. Only the items stricken through or underlined are being balloted.
