During the Reapproval process of the standard balloted on Spring of 2025, under Ballot Information: Ballot C11 (25-03) Item 001. It received 3 negative comments; this work item aims to address these objections in separate subjects. 1. Add parallel standard AISI to Scope Section. 2. Terms widely used across multiple C11 Standards – Track vs Runner 3. Limit Height Tables 3-5, validity and relevance to AC86-2012 A 4th negative comment was received, which is deemed “not-persuasive”. C840 and C955 are listed in the reference documents but are not listed anywhere else in the standard. Suggest these two standards be editorially removed from section 2.1. – The reference to C840 is in relation to the application of gypsum panels to achieve composite stud height tables. Whereas the reference to C955 is in relation to the installation of framing members in exterior applications.
